Easy Ink Card Stock Week
Good Morning Splodgers,
I hope you all ok and have enjoyed the last week of samples from the Create and Craft Show. Tom and I are so proud of the design team. They always deliver so thank you to every single person on the DT team...you are amazing!
So a week ago we showcased the SplodgeAway Elegance High Res Card and this week we are focusing on the Easy Ink Card. I always use this card to Splodge on. 25 A4 sheets for only £4.99. When Easy Ink is used with the SplodgeAway Polymer Resin Blending Mat this product amplifies the results and makes it even smoother. Easy Ink Card is an equally textured, specialised card that is intended especially for water-based inks. An amazing absorption rate and its smooth yet textured surface. Perfect for use with distress inks and delivers a stunning end finish.......But don't take our word for it check out the blog all this week to find out what our DT team thinks of it.
The first card uses the SplodgeAway 8"x8" Shattered Glass Mask and Viva Embossing Creme on top of the Easy Ink Card which had been inked up with tumbled glass distress ink, I then stamped a couple of Tim Holtz stamps and coloured them using distress markers.
The second card was made by brayering squeezed lemonade distress ink onto the Easy Ink Card and then the 6"x6" Fan Tail was used with peacock feathers. The stamp is from Chocolate Baroque and was stamped onto the SplodgeAway Elegance High ResCard and coloured with pro markers, then mounted with foam pads, the sentiment is from Waltzing Mouse stamps - this was also stamped onto the easy ink and the edges distressed with the peacock feathers, it was then mounted with foam pads too.
The third card I made by colouring a square of the Easy Ink Card all over with peacock feathers distress ink, I then laid the Oriental Bamboo Mask over the top and used cut and dry to add salty ocean distress ink. I stamped the flower silhouettes from hero arts into the centre and highlighted all around the bamboo pattern using a black and a white pencil, I also added white highlights to the stamped images
So what do you think of Claire's cards? Aren't they beautiful x Check out her blog to see more amazing projects.
So the card was a hit with Claire and can be bought direct from the SplodgeAway Website. 25 A4 sheets for £4.49...BARGAIN....
Thank you to Claire for some beautiful projects x
