Rae's Through the Mask Project.

Good Morning Splodgy Splodgers,

Are you all having a wonderful weekend? I hope so.

Today marks the last day of the 'THROUGH THE MASK' week. Our DT team have showed you acrylics, inks, gesso, inks, pastes and so much more. You can do so much with the masks, if you haven't tried it, pull out your mask and see what you can create.

Rae is sharing her beautiful project...

"My favourite technique is layering through the masks. Inks, sprays, mediums, paint, beeswax, glitter, flakes, gilding wax.......anything i can find! I applied distress ink through the LEAF IT mask before going back over with white acrylic paint. I then took the BIG BUTTERFLY stencil and applied a mix of white, pink, purple and metallic blue through before topping with free form Frantage to add bling/dimension."

Don't foget today is the last day to comment on the Blog for the GiveAway and win all those lovely masks.

Thank you for calling by and see you tomorrow,

Susan xx

  7. Love the card and the colouring you have created a work of art. I would love to know how you make a card like that perhaps it maybe possible for you to share a step by step project of what mediums to use, how you layer it and the techniques you use? Thanks for sharing.
