Rae's Abstraktz!

Good Morning Splodgers,

It's the weekend, yeahhh. Are you doing anything nice? Over here at SplodgeAway Towers, Tom and the team and just putting the final touches ready for Create and Craft this Tuesday :-) Make sure you stay tuned to the T.V as SplodgeAway is launching a new product which we are all very excited about.

Rae has been busy today and here is her fab 'Abstraktz' project.

"For this piece I took inspiration from 2 of my fave artists Piet Mondrian and Wassily Kandinsky. I stuck to primary colours and clinical black and white I turned once again to the winged horse/mermaid mask which has turned into an absolute favourite, Dotty the Lot, the Abstraktz collection and the Altered Images collection. To keep the vivid bright clean colours I used acrylic paint - drying off between each layer to stop colours merging. I am really loving the bright modernist "thang" I got going on just now :-)'
Thank you Rae for a fantastic project, something a little different. For more of Rae's work please call over to her blog :-)

Enjoy your day and see you tomorrow,

Susan x
