Good Morning Splodgers,
I hope you are all well today, well yesterday it poured down here but the weather is a little brighter today and here at the SplodgeAway Blog Jayne is showcasing her project that will definately brighten your day....
"Ooooooo decisions, decisions – it’s hard to decide what to do when you can do ANYTHING you want! Lol As we’re having such fabby warm weather here in the UK at the moment I decided to go with the sunshine theme.
I created the background by blending different coloured distress inks through my Dotty the Lot SplodgeAway Mask, varying the intensity of the colour to add interest. I used the same technique to create the sun, using the centre of one of the frame masks. I then used it as a template to cut the round part of the sun from orange patterned paper which I used distress ink around the edges before adhering it in place.
I coloured my image with promarkers and used twinkling H2O’s on the wings with glitter pen. I die cut it and added touches of foiling to finish. I added a line of promarker around the edge of the card to add definition and added a sentiment to finish the whole thing off.
Have a fab day whatever you’re doing. Thanx for looking. Hiugz, Jayne xxxxx"
Thank you Jayne, I love it!
See you all tomorrow,
Susan x
