Kay's gone Abstrakt!

 Good Morning,

How is your weekend going? It is now only 2 DAYS until Tom and Hazel appear on our screens again. SplodgeAway will be on at 11am and 3pm so don't forget to tune in :-) A few people have been asking me what channel Create and Craft are on:

Sky - 671
Freeview - 813
Virgin - 748 and you can also watch online over on the Create and Craft website.

Today Kay is sharing her Abstrakt project with us, Kay decided to zentangle through the mask which I think is a great idea :-) Last Sunday Kay joined us at the Ross Papercraft show, she was a fantastic help, Thank you Kay x

"To make this card I covered the mask with Tim Holtz Seedless Preserve and Salty Ocean distress inks and then placed on some SplodgeAway Easy Ink and ran through the e bosser. I then left the mask on and secured it. Next I drew around the shapes and zentangled.  I had no idea at this stage what I was going to do and only zentangled because Tom mentioned it. Hahax When it was done and I looked at it I immediately saw seaweed!!!! this inspired me to stamp along the bottom with a seaweed stamp and emboss in silver. I wanted it to be subtle as I didn't want to detract from the mask. I then dusted some card with Scattered Straw and Sage Green and then stamped and embossed some fish and then cut them out. "For more of Kay's work please call over to her blog.

Thanks for calling by and see you tomorrow,

Susan x
