Double the Trouble Today....

Good Morning Everybody,

Well the weather is still miserable but it is only 2 days until Tom and Hazel appear on Create and Craft at 11am and 6pm. Check back tomorrow for some sneak peeks AND

Have you left a comment on the SplodgeAway Blog GiveAway? Tom gave me some amazing products including a 12x12" SplodgeAway Mat, loads of StenSkapes and even a pack of Elegance Card.

Today is the final day of our SplodgeAway Elegance High Res Card and to finish it off we have 2 amazing DT members giving us their review of the card.

Kathleen has produced this stunning card and I love the monochrome colours with the orange tone.

This is what Kathleen had to say on the card:

I loved using the elegance card, it is so smooth and the stamped images came out sharp and clear every time. I used my alcohol pens and they glided over the paper, blending easily and no bleed... I used distress inks, a Brayer and my SplodgeAway Mat to colour the card on the treasure project, the little pirate boy was also stamped and decoupaged.... A perfect all round card which has become my new favourite...:-)

Check out Kathleen's blog for more inspiration.

Shell who is our colouring guru made 2 projects using the SplodgeAway Elegance High Res Card.

Hi Shell here, I finally got my hands on some of the Elegance High Res card and all I can say is WOW.  Before I say what I though of the card I just wanted to say I'm not an expert on colouring but I do know what I like so with that said I can honestly say this cardstock is one of the better ones out there, it's 300gsm and is super smooth so it's perfect for all your alcohol marker pens, it even went through my printer so I could use my digi's.
I like to layer my colours  to get the right amount of shading I want and I had no bleeding even with my reds, the image I coloured in red I used 4 different pens and still no bleeding.
Value for money is also important to me and at £4.99 for 25 sheets it's just right. For my card I have used copics for the hair and promarkers for the rest of the image. The image if from Saturated Canary, I used a SplodgeAway mask called Dirty Skratchy for the background all the die cuts have been cut on my cameo..
Thanks for stopping by today and I would say get some of this card and try it for yourself you won't be disappointed.

Thank you to Shell and Kathleen for your amazing samples.

Check out the blog tomorrow for some sneak peeks of the masks going on the show on Friday :-)
