No More Blues!!

Good Morning Splodgy Splodgers. I hope you have had a lovely weekend. Tom and I had a role reversal on Saturday, I spent the day in the shop and Tom stayed at home with Holly. It was lovely seeing everybody again but I did miss my baby x

Today we are shwocasing Kay's No More Blues Project!! Self explanatory but Kay had to produce a project using no blue at all so take a look.......

Materials Used:

SplodgeAway 8x8 Do It With Daisies 2 Mask
SplodgeAway Easy Ink Card Stock
Spellbinders Die Leafy Squares
Tim Holtz Distress Inks - Evergreen Bough, Seedless Preserves, Squeezed Lemon
Stickles Glitter
Dimension Flower Stamp.

I didn't realise how difficult it would be to create a card with no blues as I love blue. I removed all the blues from sight and this is the finished result. Enjoy Kay.

Instructions:

To make the card I first ran the mask through the Grand Calibur and while the mask was still in place blended with Evergreen Bough, Squeezed Lemon and Seedless preserve and cut to size.

I then stamped, coloured and constructed the flowers, colouring with distress ink and glittering the edges.

The Tutti Cuti stamp was then stamped with memento and coloured with pro markers and then edged with seedless preserve. I then cut the Leafy Square die out and distressed the edges with Seedless Preserve.

We are now ready to construct the card which I think is self explanatory but before I glued the topper onto card I glued dotty ribbon around botton and made a knot which I glued on.

For more inspiration from Kay please visit her blog.

Thank you

Susan x
