To finish the week off we have a theme of 'anything but square' using SplodgeAway products. To start this theme of Kay has definately made a card using anything but square! Thank you Kay.
Kay stepped up to the plate and produced this lovely hexagon card.
Kay has used the 8"x8" Steam Clock Mask and the new Metal Plate Mask that needs added to the website.
Kay also used:
A Hexagon Easel card purchased from Suzicraft
Distress Inks: Tea Dye, Old Paper and Black Soot
Docrafts Chronology CD
Penny Farthing man can be purchased from SplodgeAway.
A selection of buttons in browns and blacks.
Piece of brown and white ribbon.
Small piece of bakers twine.

Instructions:
To start I placed the everyday mask over the base of easel card and inked with the Tea Dye then went around the edges with Old Paper.
I then embossed the Steam Clock mask through a manual embossing machine onto the topper card, then inked with the old paper .
The Penny Farthing man is made from cardboard and I liked the colour for this project so I just inked the hat and body with black soot using a piece of sponge. I then glued a button to the centre of the wheels and glued to the middle ,slightly right of centre of topper.
I then cut out the sentiments and distressed with tea dye and old paper so they would blend with the card. This was now ready to glue to front of easel card.
To complete, along the base of the card I glued a length of ribbon and glued three large buttons. ( The middle one having a piece of bakers twine knotted through centre)
This would give the dimension for the easel to stand up.
This was quite a simple card to complete. Why don't you give it a go.
Happy Crafting
