Kathleen and Claire Chapman's Autumn Project.

Good Morning Splodgers,

How are you today? Anything nice planned?
I don't know about Autumn it feels more like Winter, the heating is on full blast and the kettle is doing a lot of boiling so I am not looking forward to the electric bill but I am looking forward to ....dare I say it.... Christmas :-)

As this week is 'Autumn' we have two amazing team members showcasing their projects..

First of all Kathleen has used a SplodgeAway Mask and Blending Mat to create this stunning piece:

Claire has also been busy and created a stunning piece for 'Autumn:

"Well Autumn has arrived with a bang here in the UK, I'm not keen on the rain and wind but I just love the colours of Autumn. For my card I made a background with distress inks (Peeled Paint, Scattered Straw and Wild honey) and rock salt, then I applied versamark to the Do It with Daisies 1 frame and popped it through my Grand Calibur. I embossed with copper embossing powder, adding a little green here and there. Next I used the Mineez Fallen Leaf mask and added some leaves to the background using more distress inks. I coloured the image with Graph'It markers and cut it out, popping it up on 3d foam pads for some dimension"

Thank you Claire for a great piece, love the rock salt idea!

Please call over to Claire's Blog for more inspiration :-)

Enjoy the rest of the day and see you all tomorrow,

Susan xx
