Carol and Zoe have both been busy :-)

Good Morning Splodgy Splodgers,

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

How are you all this morning? Warm I hope, my poor electricity bill won't know whats hit it in 3 months time!

Don't forget this Sunday the SplodgeAway Team will be at the Ross Papercraft Show at Rainton Meadows. Tom will be demonstrating new StenSkapes brand new that day and then on Friday 8th November Tom will be back on Create and Craft for a StenSkape special.

We are haivng a catch up on the blog which is fabby as it means the blog will be crammed with various projects and lots and lots of inspiration. Today we are proud to be showcasing 2 very talented members of the team Carol and Zoe who both lead very busy lifes but always find time to produce these beautiful projects for you.

Carol is showcasing her Autumn Project and without looking at the project week the colours just shout 'Autumn' out.....stunning...

"When I was asked to create an Autumnal card it got me thinking and originally this was going to be a wreath on a card, however, I was thinking of the birds and watching them eat the Catoneaster berries and swooping back into their nest,  so I decided to use this lovely stamp and try and recreate the picture inside the nest a little.
The 'Oriental Bamboo' mask was perfect as it has the circular centre. This was distressed with various colours. The bird image was stamped and coloured in Prisma colours and then the fun!!!! Grungeboard leaves were die cut and distressed, off cuts of metal were embossed and coloured with alcohol inks. Twine and wire and berries were added to give even more dimension. |Hope you like it !
Happy Crafting

Carol xx"
I love it Carol! Makes me feel all warm and cozy. Please call over to Carol's Blog for lots more exciting inspiration x
Last week on the blog was meant to be '2 in 1' Week but my laptop was poorly so over the next couple of days we will showcase several projects and they have definately been worth the wait. I am sure you have more than 1 mask and sometimes think, oh what could I do with that! So we decided to get the teams thinking caps on and produce 1 project using only 2 masks....first to showcase their project is Zoe:

"I've used the 6" x 6" Card King Mask with distress paint (picket fence) inked over
with Distress Ink then spritzed the Lattice Mask with water and laid that on,
blotted and heat dried!"

Thank you Zoe for a lovely tag, check out Zoe's Blog for more lovely work.
Thank you to both Carol and Zoe for amazing work today,

Have a great day and see you all tomorrow,
Susan x
