Good Morning Splodgy Splodgers,
How are you all? Have you checked out the last post and seen the fab giveaway!
Today is the start of the 'Fantasy and Fairy' week here at the blog today. SplodgeAway has lots of masks and stenskapes that fit these categories and our DT team are going to show you what you can do with them. Kay is kickstarting the week using the very popular 'Fantasy Fairy StenSkape'
"To make the card I distressed around the edges of a piece of Easy Ink card in a combination of colours including Pickled Raspberries, Spiced Marmalade, Peacock Feathers, Faded Jeans and Milled Lavender. I then used my 'Fantasy Fairy Stenskape' and placed the toadstool in place with the fairy on top and used Black Soot to distress along the bottom I used the grass in a few layers and then finally the flowers were then place on the card again using Black Soot. After that I used a stamps by Ryn stamp of raindrops and stamped randomly in versamark and embossed with clear powder. I must be honest that this does not show up to well. If I made this card again I would be tempted to use a black ink and emboss with clear or versamark and emboss with colour. To finish I cut to seven and a half inches square and matted onto black card slightly larger then mounted onto eight inch square card."
Thank you to Kay for a fab piece of work, the colours are beautiful. If you call over to Kay's Blog you will find more amazing work.
Don't forget to comment on this post to be in with a chance of winning the giveaway :-)
Enjoy your day,
Susan xx
