Elegant Water Colour Easel Splodge

Project By Rosie

You will need

6” x6” white card
Fuchsia stamp – Creative expressions
Distress Ink pads - Picked Raspberry /Shabby Shutters /Dusty Concorde
Memento Inkpad-Black
6”x6” patterned purple paper x 2

I used a blending tool with the raspberry Distress ink dabbed onto my splodge away mat to blend around the edges of the card.
Next  I trimmed the  edges of the purple paper and punched a border along one edge and  adhered it to the front of the card I like to use cosmic shimmer glue as it is strong and  dries quickly . Once dry I folded the front of the card in half then I stuck a piece of the purple paper to the inside of the card.
Using the watercolour card I cut a strip 6”x 1 ½” and punched a border along the two sides (this will become my stopper), and then I used a Spellbinders Die to cut out my Topper. I blended around the edges using the raspberry colour.

I used a Black Memento Inkpad to stamp the Fuchsia onto the topper and the smaller stamps along the Stopper.

I painted the images with the Distress inkpads mixing and blending the colours on the splodge away mat.

Finally I assembled the card using foam pads and added a sentiment and an embellishment.
