UP Up And Away.......

...... in my Beautiful Balloon.....

............... Yes you've guessed it Balloons and Cogs are the theme for this week. We've got a brand new mask to show you and some gorgeous artwork. The Design Team got their thinking caps on at a DT meeting last week and have come up with some fun challenges and giveaways coming your way so make sure you join us as a follower to keep up with us......

This mask reminded me of the balloon ride my husband arranged as a surprise for our 10th Anniversary which was brave of him because I’m scared of heights !!!

8x8 Scalloped Card

Background paper was made by using images from computer..edges distressed with lettuce ink using splodgeaway mat

Dry emboss the paper with balloon and cogs by running it through the Grand Calibre

Ink over the embossing with wild honey distress ink using the splodgeaway mat

Put the mask through the caliber and cut the air balloon and the largest cog out distress balloon with lettuce distress ink and wild honey on the cog

Emboss the cog with cosmic shimmer ultra clear embossing powder

Stamp and clear embossed the Crafty Individual stamp and use watercolour pencils to colour

Cut background paper to 7 1/2ins x 7 1/2 glued into place with collal photo glue

Place images on card and distress edges of card with wild honey and lettuce using splodgeaway mat to blend together.
