Time Flies

Today Dimply has put together a beautifully brayered inking technique for you to have a play with.

The SplodgeAway mat enhances your brayering technique and if you want to try a mat for yourself pop into Suzicraft and Tom or Susan will be happy for you to try.

Take an A4 piece of beige card and fold in half, this will make your base card, distress the edges using distress inks and the SplodgeAway mat.

Take an A5 piece of SplodgeAway Easy ink card, using brayering tool and ink using the SplodgeAway mat, make a background

Stamp an image a couple of time onto background

Emboss the SplodgeAway balloon mask onto the background paper you have just made, leave the mask on and distress the raised areas of the embossed image and distress around the edges, using stickles, highlight parts of the balloon (ALLOW TO DRY), this will become your topper

Trim a piece of beige card slightly bigger than the topper, then trim a piece of cream card slightly bigger than that, and a piece of orange slightly bigger

Stick the cream piece of card to the orange piece of card with double sided tape

Cut 2 pieces of twine, knot them in the middle and attach to the top left of the topper

When stickles are dry, stick the topper to the beige piece of card just trimmed, 3D foam the topper onto the other pieces of card

Emboss a few of the SplodgeAway cogs onto a piece of scrap card that will co-ordinate with your colours, cut out and place onto card

Stick onto A5 card
