Angela has been craft-cycling :-)

Hello Splodgy Splodgers,

How are you today? Oh my goodness what has happened to the weather? Sunday I was walking around a farm with the sun beating down and today the wind is howling the plants are being well and truly watered!
This post was scheduled for earlier in the week but for some reason blogger isn't posting so I will keep this post up tomorrow aswell until 6pm.

Today carries on with our great theme 'Craft-Cycle' and Angela has been creating a fantastic project using a.....mouse trap....yep how fantastic is that!

Angela has used the 6" x 6" Fancy Lattice Mask alongside the 12" Floral Border Mask.

"I saw this theme and knew it would be fun to do, the only thing was I wasn’t sure quite what to produce. I wanted to do something a bit different as I have done quite a few wall hanging on cardboard recently I didn’t want to do that. I have seen quite a few altered mousetraps on pinterest but none of them really jumped out (excuse the pun )until I saw one that was made as a note holder. Here is my take on it using the Fancy lattice mask for the background and the floral border to make the flowers"

Don't forget to call over to Angela's Blog for even more Splodgetastic inspiraion.

Thank you for calling by and see you all tomorrow,

Susan xx

  3. Great idea Angela and super use of the masks too!! A really beautiful creation from such a horrible contraption!!! I too am in love with altered mouse traps and was on the verge of making one too for this week , because I have a pinterest board dedicated to them, but...... changed my mind at the last minute!! Glad I did as yours would have put mine in the shade for sure !Love the feminine feel you have created for this as well
