Meet Kathleen....

Good Morning Splodgers,

How are we all doing this Sunday morning? I hope your weekend so far has been great and the rain hasn't spoilt it. I haven't had to water any plants so I'm pleased :-)

I have been spending sometime over the weekend going through DT emails and sorting out the new schedule. Believe me when I say the standard of work is OUTSTANDING and you will be as excited as I am when you see it.

Today we meet Kathleen. She has been on the DT for a while now but has never officially been introduced. Kathleen is not only a DT member but a great friend and we are honoured to have her on the team....

My name is Kathleen Turner and I am in my 40s... I have 2 sons and live in Teesside. I have been crafting in some form all my life, sewing, painting, scrapbooking and of course card making. I moved to Teesside a year ago and didn't know anyone, Sue and Tom made me feel incredibly welcome and SplodgeAway was just a baby..... I have never been a messy crafter and was reluctant to try the SplodgeAway mat and masks.... needless to say...I did and am hooked. I love the extra dimension the mat brings to my crafting and find the masks both versatile and challenging. Challenging in that I had to think out of my comfort zone of matting and layering to include the masks. Now I find that I use them in my projects 90% of the time. I have done some demonstrating and classes in the past and love to share ideas. If just one person finds inspiration in my work, then my job here is done
