Ornate Artisan

Project By Nicki Moss

"Sometimes you need a card that looks very ornate but is actually really easy to make - that's when die-cuts are invaluable. With mostly basic white cardstock, a bit of layering, and some ink blending made super-simple with the wonderful SplodgeAway mat, you can create something in minutes that looks like it took hours! Tip - use background paper with a tiny pattern to help show off the lovely shapes of the die-cuts, and layer them with foam pads to add dimension. For this card I used Spellbinders Ornate Artisan Tags & Accents set and a Marianne corner, and all the inking is done with Spun Sugar Distress Ink."

  1. This is a very pretty card. Good tip about making a plush looking card quickly. Sam
