Good Morning Splodgers,

How are you today? Up to anything exciting? If not, why not take part in 'Fantasy and Fairy' week?

And, don't forget the GiveAway is still going.....would you like to win these fabulous craft goodies?

FANTASY AND FAIRY WEEK

So this weeks theme carries on and today we are we are very lucky to have Claire Chapman sharing her Fairy project and I love it!

Claire has used the 8"x8" Fairy Dust Layout Mask to create her sample.

"I've created a shaker card with the Fairy Dust Mask for our Fantasy Week. This is one of my all time favourite masks as it works beautifully with so many different stamps. I've embossed the mask with my grand calibur and then heat embossed with a sparkly white embossing powder on a distress ink background.and just cut an aperture to frame the stamped image"

Thank you so much to Claire for this amazing card. The colouring is immense! Check out Claire's blog for even more amazing work.

See you all tomorrow and thank you for calling by,

Kay's Fantasy Week

Good Morning Splodgy Splodgers,

How are you all? Have you checked out the last post and seen the fab giveaway!

Today is the start of the 'Fantasy and Fairy' week here at the blog today. SplodgeAway has lots of masks and stenskapes that fit these categories and our DT team are going to show you what you can do with them. Kay is kickstarting the week using the very popular 'Fantasy Fairy StenSkape'

"To make the card I distressed around the edges of a piece of Easy Ink card in a combination of colours including Pickled Raspberries, Spiced Marmalade, Peacock Feathers,  Faded Jeans and Milled Lavender. I then used my 'Fantasy Fairy Stenskape' and placed the toadstool in place with the fairy on top and used Black Soot to distress along the bottom I used the grass in a few layers and then finally the flowers were then place on the card again using Black Soot.  After that I used a stamps by Ryn stamp of raindrops and stamped randomly in versamark and embossed with clear powder. I must be honest that this does not show up to well. If I made this card again I would be tempted to use a black ink and emboss with clear or versamark and emboss with colour. To finish I cut to seven and a half inches square and matted onto black card slightly larger then mounted onto eight inch square card."

Thank you to Kay for a fab piece of work, the colours are beautiful. If you call over to Kay's Blog you will find more amazing work.

Don't forget to comment on this post to be in with a chance of winning the giveaway :-)

Enjoy your day,

Claire's StenSkape Showcase

Good Morning Splodgers,

Well time has flown since I last got around to blogging so I hope everybody is well and wrapped up warm in this weather. I have been very busy nursing a teething baby and the last 4 weeks seem to have disappeared within the blink of an eye. Holly is now everywhere with her speed crawling and climbing.

Today we are showcasing the amazing Claire's beautiful StenSkape. I love this card, it looks so peaceful and atmospheric.

Claire has used the 'Mad About Fishing' StenSkape to create this card. If you pop along to the SplodgeAway website you can also purchase the 'Fishing Layout' which matches this StenSkape perfectly.

Tom is busy busy and a abit more busy working on new products so I still need to borrow him to grab a few more photos for the tutorial he is doing so watch this space.

Thank you to Claire for this lovely card, check out Claire's blog for more ideas.

Enjoy the rest of your day and stay dry!

Rae's StenSkape ShowCase

Good Morning Splodgers,

How are you all toda
y? It is pouring down here, I think Winter is dawning upon us but II love winter and I can't wait for the snow as we brought Holly home in the snow and now she will be able to play it in.

This post was scheduled for yesterday but I am obviously keeping up the 'broke' theme as last week I broke my toe, the car broke down and the van we hired on Sunday broke down!!

Today we are carrying on with the StenSkape Week and today is Rae's turn. Rae made this stunning card for the Create and Craft Show and Rae has been kind enough to do a tutorial on this card. Tom is also working on a tutorial for you.

Rae used the Christmas Village StenSkape alongside the Bauble Creator.

Check along to Rae's blog for her tutorial.

Thank you Rae for some stunning work :-)

Thank you for calling by and see you tomorrow for Claire's StenSkape.

Kathleen's StenSkape

Good Morning Splodgy Splodgers,

How are you? It's that time of the week where we can all go 'yeaahhh' its the weekend. Don't forget tomorrow is the Ross Papercraft Show in Eston so if you go call into the stand and say hello.

Today Kathleen is showcasing her StenSkape Creation.

"I used walnut distress ink on my SplodgeAway mat and a StenSkape mask to create the background. A brown archival and Indigo blue stamps added extra dimension. I cut this into three equal pieces and mounted them onto a white pearlised card and then onto a rich brown pearlised card."

Kathleen used the 'Butterfly StenSkape' which can be found on the Create and Craft website.

Thank you for calling by and see you tomorrow,

Carol and her StenSkape

Good Morning Splodgers,

How are you today? Well I feel the cold coming...only means one thing....Christmas is Coming!!

Today we are carrying on with StenSkape week and Carol has produced an AMAZING StenSkape. Carol is a new starter to the StenSkapes but you wouldn't think it.....Carol you have did an AMAZING job.

"This I have to admit is a very simple scene created using the fisherman StenSkape. It was created using distress inks in various  colours and then the images added in Black Soot. I knew I wanted the scene to depict the fisherman still fishing as the sun sets and the light starts to fade, so am hoping I have achieved this with the colours I chose. The reflections were made by turning the masks upside down and only lightly inking.

I have to admit I am a complete novice with the StenSkapes and particularly with the reflections, but have to say, using the Easy Ink Card and the Mad About Fishing StenSkape shows that even me a complete beginner in this area was able to achieve quite a good result quickly and with the minimum of materials. Love these StenSkapes will be trying to emulate some of the fantastic work I seen achieved using them. The best thing.......there are so many scenes you can create with just one mask. The possibilities are really endless.
Thanks for any comments you choose to leave here.
Happy Crafting
Carol xx

Carol has used the 'Mad  About Fishing' StenSkape and I am sure you will agree that she has done a BRILLIANT job.

Thank you Carol for your StenSkape and don't forget to call over to Carol's blog and see what she has been up to.
